OUR STORY

First Church of Christ, Scientist in Moline, Illinois. We’re a branch of the worldwide Christian Science denomination and have been in Moline for more than 120 years!

Christian healing as Christ Jesus practiced it on the hills of Galilee is going on today right here in our community. Our services are meant to inspire, to encourage, and to explain the practical science of Christ that heals.

  • What can I expect from First Church of Christ?


You can certainly expect a strong emphasis on the Bible, we are committed to sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples. You’ll always receive a warm welcome by our congregation and Christian Science Pastor at our Sunday church services which include hymn singing, silent and congregational prayer, and an uplifting Bible Lesson with our Christian Science Pastor. The lesson is comprised of passages from the Bible and our textbook taught by our Christian Science Pastor , Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
